LabPLUS is the tertiary referral medical laboratory of Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand.

It offers an extensive national service and provides analytical pathology for Auckland City Hospital, National Women's Health, Starship Childrens Health and Greenlane Clinical Centre. It holds the primary referral non-schedule contract for the Northern District Health Boards.

The services provided includes Chemical Pathology (Automated Biochemistry, Endocrinology, Special Techniques, Trace Metals, Toxicology and HPLC). Haematology (Haemostasis, General & Special Haematology, Molecular Haematology, Immunophenotyping and Stem Cell Transplantation). Microbiology (General, aerobic and anaerobic microbiology, Mycobacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, Sexual Transmitted Infections, Leptospira serology & culture, Leprosy testing and Molecular Diagnostics. Cytogenetics (Prenatal diagnosis from Amniotic Fluid and Chorionic villus, Constitutional Blood Cytogenetics, Cancer Cytogenetics and Fluorescence In Situ Hybridisation). Anatomical Pathology (Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Cytology, Electron Microscopy). Virology and Immunology, (Serology, Virology including culture, Immunochemistry, DNA Virology, Molecular Genetics). The National Testing Centre (Newborn baby metabolic screening, biochemical genetics, Maternal serum Screening).

LabPLUS is also a referral centre for workplace Occupational Health Testing (Drugs of Abuse Testing, Heavy Metal poisoning, Pesticide Exposure, Hepatitis Exposure and Liver Function).

In summary, LabPLUS is an IANZ accredited medical laboratory providing an extensive referral service, employing 27 pathologists and is one of New Zealand's premier Laboratories.
