| This application is operated
on an Itanium server located at Auckland City Hospital and provides a
critical function for the ability of patient diagnosis.
In addition to monitoring analytical process and producing Laboratory Reports, the system also produces and stores financial data for use in internal service billing and external account charging. Data from these records is extracted and used to provide internal service billing files together with files for casemix and service charge details to a number of client managers. |

| The system supports Laboratory Testing for
all Auckland, Greenlane, National Testing Centre and is used in
some areas of New Zealand Blood Service Laboratories. There are 350 devices (printers, pc's and analysers) currently connected in Laboratory Areas with many more accessing the information through portals like Eclair and Concerto. The system generates electronic reports accessible via Eclair, Concerto, CRIS and HealthLink email. It also has the ability to generate paper reports for users still using snail mail. |
