Helena Faiva-Thompson represents NZ on the RCPA serology Steering Committee

Congratulations to Helena Faiva-Thompson in Virology/Immunology for being invited by the RCPA serology to be the sole NZ representative on their Steering Committee which is the highest administrative level with operational oversight of the groups activity.

To be eligible for the invitation Helena had to have served with distinction on the groups Scientific Advisory Network. A core role of SAN members is the assessment and report writing of EQA returns. By accepting the invitation, Helena continues the proud tradition of LabPLUS scientific staff being recognised at this level, Paul Austin preceding her by serving 4 consecutive 3-year terms before standing down in 2015.
